Update
How are you guys doing this week? I did not want to do a workout but because of you guys, I did my 3rd one this morning. It wasn't horrible after all. I am not detoxing but meeting my personal goals. The new job is nice! I like it.

Exercise suggestion for the week
Hey @Everyone ! If you are doing this detox with me, you will need to do a workout 3 days this week. You did Saturday, so you can count that as 1 day. Here is a video that you can follow to do a workout at least 2 more days this week. What you’ll do:
• Warm‑up & light stretch
• 48‑count ab circuit
• Single‑leg hip thrusts & RDLs for glutes & hamstrings
• Full shoulder sculpt: front raises, lateral raises & bent-over rows
• Arm burn: hammer curls & tricep extensions

Protein Alternatives
Please share your ideas and thoughts of other proteins besides meat for on the go. Protein, bars, peanuts, etc. what do you eat?
Hey there Lana! Here are some of my thoughts:
I do like protein bars, though I don't personally lean on them too much because of the carbs and sometimes don't digest well (for me). But a good on-the-go option!
There's a lot to consider when it comes to nuts. Peanut are highest in protein, but second highest are almonds (almonds are lower in fat). But Walnuts are also much higher in Omega 3 fatty acids, so I lean on Walnuts. Omega 3 is super valuable and we Americans don't eat enough.
Boiled Eggs are AMAZING!
I have tried out baking some egg-white cups. These are just egg whites mixed with spices and a little salt/pepper baked in a baking cup. This can be a good snack on-the-go.
Pre-prep some greek yogurt in small travel-friendly containers. You can get plain greek yogurt and add some frozen fruit on the bottom or top. As the fruit thaws, it releases juices. Great with strawberries or blueberries. (Add monkfruit sugar if you wanna kick up the sweetness without eating real sugar)

Tracking our 2 week Detox!
⭐ Below you will find the 2 week detox tracker.
1) Take before pictures (keep them to yourself). One full body front, side and rear pic in something that will show your body condition well. For example, I will wear some fitted workout shorts and a sports bra for mine.
2) Each day, update the spreadsheet with your completed goals. Remember that you do not have to exercise every day, and in fact it is not recommended. Beginners should do at least 3 days a week to make the detox challenge goal.
I am so happy for those of you who have decided to accept this challenge. I promise, you will not regret it. You are going to feel so much better after this 2 weeks and ready to take on your fitness goals!

Lemon Water
I start a new job Monday morning, in person, Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00. I have been remote pretty much 100% since June, 2013. This will be different for me. I have some physical issues that may keep me from keeping this dream job of travel agent but I am hopeful. Yesterday, knowing I will be filling up my 40 ounce water cup, I bought lemons to infuse in my water. I have been doing this for years and slacked off a lot. Lemons are really good for urinary tract health. When I am more regimented, I can cough and sneeze without that little peeing that happens unless you bend over while doing it; unless I have a cold, then forgot it. (BTW, I am 58 years old and old age affects your body.) Anyways, trying infusing a lemon with your water. You will not see results for about 6 mon…
Yes! I have heard about the benefits of adding fresh lemon to your water. I will give that a shot as well!
I really hope your new job goes well. I'll ask you about it tomorrow.
Also, I do understand what you mean about bladder control as we age. I never had such an issue until the past could of years, and particularly if I'd been drinking. I realized that every now and then I would laugh and have a little bit of an accident 😱 But this is yet another benefit to strength training. We can strengthen out pelvic flor muscles doing specific lower body exercises and this helps a ton!

Great session. My body is stiff, crackling and farting! LOL I got the giggles when we first started. I want to share that I had a goal to walk my 6,000 steps a day for a solid month. Yesterday I completed my goal! This month I want to make sure my whole month of January is lit up on my Samsung Health app. Ryan's family, being in Florida really helped me accomplish that with the nice weather. Yesterday we got a membership for the local arboretum in Asheville, NC so I am hoping to use that. I prefer walking outside to the treadmill.
