Hey there Lana! Here are some of my thoughts:

  • I do like protein bars, though I don't personally lean on them too much because of the carbs and sometimes don't digest well (for me). But a good on-the-go option!

  • There's a lot to consider when it comes to nuts. Peanut are highest in protein, but second highest are almonds (almonds are lower in fat). But Walnuts are also much higher in Omega 3 fatty acids, so I lean on Walnuts. Omega 3 is super valuable and we Americans don't eat enough.

  • Boiled Eggs are AMAZING!

  • I have tried out baking some egg-white cups. These are just egg whites mixed with spices and a little salt/pepper baked in a baking cup. This can be a good snack on-the-go.

  • Pre-prep some greek yogurt in small travel-friendly containers. You can get plain greek yogurt and add some frozen fruit on the bottom or top. As the fruit thaws, it releases juices. Great with strawberries or blueberries. (Add monkfruit sugar if you wanna kick up the sweetness without eating real sugar)
